Job Summary
We are looking for a Remote Backend Developer to build, maintain, and scale server-side applications, APIs, and system integrations. This role is fully remote and requires a self-driven developer who can work independently while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs

Implement and manage third-party system integrations (payment gateways, CRMs, external services)

Collaborate remotely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders

Ensure security, scalability, and performance of backend systems

Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
-
Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing backend applications

Participate in virtual meetings, code reviews, and sprint planning
Required Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel Framework)

Hands-on experience with API development and integrations (REST / JSON)

Solid knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL

Experience implementing authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth, API tokens)

Familiarity with Git and remote collaboration workflows

Ability to work with remote servers and cloud environments
